AI is basically theft of IP, dissasembled works of humanity reassembled to only benefit corporations by cutting cost and labour.
How do you want to raise the value of company stocks these days without calling everything AI???
Tracking human physiology while playing will be used to make more addictive games without needing to invest in silly things like world-building or good story, and all that data will be also sold to third parties = profit!!!
If you want to prevent this direction, avoid any data collection including collecting achievements on stream because that information will be used against you to make more money from you…

AI offers developers the opportunity to make truly unique stories based on decisions we make in a game. Not like now, where there's a choice wheel that ultimately still guides you down the scripted path in a narrative. But it's still early days and there will many downs than ups, as studios train AI to suit their audience. AI also opens the door to accessibility and those who have problems playing games due to disabilities for example. As for the 'emotion band' – I can't see that working. We already have games that pick up voice and offer fun viral experiences, such as Repo. It's a fantastic opportunity and I am excited, as a games developer.

Have they forgotten how to utilize & design Visually Appealing Art Styles? Do they realize how much we miss the style & design of 90s-00s era video games? The amount of game selection & their range of creativity of that era was insane. How could we not respect that today. They tried odd concepts, weird art styles, wacky game genres. One of the most important aspects was that we always had a healthy collection of games to choose from. Stuff like Ray Tracing, 4k, 120 fps was not required to make all of these amazing games. Right now we just need game selection! We need games with all sorts of art styles, we need all sorts of game genres, we need all sorts of gameplay styles. We do not need Ray Tracing. We had amazing games before Ray Tracing and with the right art style & visual design those games could still look amazing

Additionally, introducing competition with other avatars can further increase motivation, as the avatar will strive to outperform others and achieve the highest score. This system ensures that the avatar remains active, constantly seeking new rewards and improving its performance.
It is crucial that these avatars have the ability to evolve and learn, allowing them to behave like real people.
