Today it looks like Windows 10 could have gotten a temporary new lease on life past its upcoming end of support. Intel may soon come to the rescue in the convoluted and ridiculous GPU market. And Nintendo is proving once again that it hates its customers and doesn’t care what you think.

I will continue using Windows 10 without any updates and I don't care. Will also go back to Windows 7 on my second computer.
As far as i remember BillyGoats said "Windows 10 your last operating system"… Then Windows 11 got announced. Oh well i've been annoyed, at Windows since 3.11, i'm just gonna migrate some PC's to Linux…
Bricking consoles can also make the resale market risky
I really like this new weekly presentation format – thanks Rich
Go for it…Linux that is . I'm using it for home use since 2019 in an old computer
I do NOT want Windows 11…
I expected they will extend the support for windows 10 especially when most of windows users around the world are still using it for two reasons which are the unsupported devices issues and the stability issues in addition to the installation problems that can be bypassed lately
I have downgraded back to windows 10 from windows 11 its just a much better OS when thought put into it.
O patch will do security updates for 5 more years or more. They still do security updates for windows 7.
Honestly, its been all down hill since windows 7. I'd swap to linux in a heart beat if UE5 and 3DS Max ran natively.
I'll sure hacker will find a way to jailbreak their console and get the games out of the data key. or in this case… they are gonna get the keys, with and allow people to get the game data.
yes! they will falsely flag a device and a consumer will leave without nothing… and then I want to see if people still going to like Nintendo after that…
What version of Linux would make the easiest transition from Windows 10? I'm curious from software compatibility and user interface perspectives.
If more software developers would write apps for Linux, I'd make the switch. Problem is I have 2 programs for which there is no Linux alternative
I'm just waiting for Wn12. I don't want to update to Wn11 and then Wn12.
Now i have testing Linux Mint for 2 month, and probably i will change for it until my old PC will dead.
I'm getting the fear and loathing with this death date approaching.. Win 10 works flawless and the horrors of useless Win 8 are still vivid. Linux has my serious attention.
Just use the IoT LTSC version.
What about their claim that Win10 would be the last one? That it would last forever and be updated.
Man that Nintendo news strikes me right out of "buying" a Switch2. I haven't bought a new Nintendo console since the WiiU. If I can't actually have physical possession and control, I ain't buying. I still have my very original NES as you do, I also have my SNES, N64, and Wii. I'm sad I ever got rid of my original Gamecube, but oh well. I play games on these with my teenage kiddo and it's a blast! This 'you'll own nothing and be happy' BS has got to stop and I really wish more people would start voicing it with their dollars instead of guzzling the 'cool'-aid.
win 11 is really really very bad
i hope nintento piracy skyrockets
Man drop that AI thumbnails. Very bad look.
Linux , ich komme im Herbst , Windows 11 kommt bei mir nicht in Frage
Ill pay the 30 usd to get that last year…i'll learn linux before oct 2026
NO MORE WINDOWS!
Can you upgrade a microsft surface with 10 pro to 11 pro?
well i've moved on to linux mint like 2 years ago and at this point i'm about ready to even delete dual boot. that's how much i hate going into windows and seeing it undid all my configs AGAIN and won't let me shut down without installing an update that i didn't ask it to download
I’m still sticking to windows 10. Windows 11 is just a resource eater.
There is 0patch. if you do not want to provide M$ with the ESU funds but rather a company that does it, and will for as long as people pay them.
Fuck Microsoft. Win 10 till it's grave and no subscription. Just now cancelled my office 365 sub and moved to libre office.
I'm trying to like Linux but it takes so much fcking around just to get a game to work. So im gonna be forced to use Windows 11
The only problem with that support, is when idjits go looking for the downloadables, and go to sketchy sites and download an exe. from said site.
i know nintendo is a issued company but as someone who plays pc games with mods sometimes, i dont see a reason why you would mod NINTENDO? just play the game how its supposed to be, they are fun most of times (ignoring the boring animal crossing build horizon simulator..)
I don't want to say something repetitive, but there were IIRC Win 10 updates way after that date after all the plane crashes. Eat it 11.
Let's be real, Win10 isn't dead until it's no longer supported by the Steam launcher.
I'm gonna go Linux al the way after this. Slowly working that way now.
You are wrong about microsoft not making fixes for old os, they still make security updates for XP that is used on credit card readers at stores. They only do this because they are a monopoly and are anti-consumer.
Win Vista made me test Linux many years ago. The EOL of win 10 and win 11 being so shitty will force me to fully embrace Kubuntu full time.
ESU Licences are totaly nothing new. Whats the Video even about?
I've had quite enough of Windows's "features". Just Run my damn programs. If it weren't for my PreSonus Quantum 4848 thunderbolt audio interface, I'd have already ditched and switched.
Linux base is looking better and better
And what about us poor people on SSI that can't afford Win11. My PC can't be upgraded.
Yeah switching to Linux sounds great guys but all versions of Linux the wifi drivers suck really bad and are super buggy
I have three pcs to upgrade to win 11 pro keeping all my stuff on each pc. what is the best way to do this automaticly and can they be debouted at the sametime? HELP ! What is the best way to do this, ya got a video for this ??? Thanks
I just ditched windows altogether and switched to Mac. Best decision in a long time.
I have Windows 11 and it is not an improvement or worth the trouble to use. Hate it!
Intel most definitely are not coming to rescue the GPU market. 95% of any cards they make will go to the USA, 4% to Europe/Japan/China and 1% to the rest of the world.
And anything outside of the USA will have a higher "Real world MSRP" .
Too late… I already bought a Mac so I didn't have to use Win11.
I would go to 11 if it wasn't tablet pc crap.
Since Windows 7 gets monthly updates via UpdatePack7 until 2026, is that a good time to start testing an update to Windows 10?
Will Win10, or 8.1 get the UpdatePack treatment?
Windows 10 & 11 Share The Same Kernel And Code Base, So End-Of-Life Is Nothing But A PC Scam To Get People To Throw Away Perfectly Good Computers, Some Not Even 1 Year Old. There Are Motherboards Still In Production That Don't Have TPM 2.0.
